The tools we use with Claude, how they connect, and what they cost.
Claude can be used in three ways. They differ by how much they connect to our files and tools.
Answers questions and helps with thinking. Nothing is kept between sessions.
Connects Claude to our files and apps, so it can produce documents and work across our tools. Most of our current work was made here.
Runs on the computer and builds things that live in a repository — code, websites, automation.
The work moves through three stages — made, stored, then published — with a different tool for each.
Cowork & Claude Code — where documents, guides, apps and pages are created.
GitHub — stores everything with full version history, off the laptop and backed up.
Cloudflare — serves the stored work as a private internal website (dashboard, wiki, guides).
The cost of each part of the stack at our current size, using nonprofit rates where they apply.
Keeping our work safe, versioned and off one laptop — git, GitHub, Claude Code.
