Children do not make anything here. They take materials from this table and build at the making tables around it.
A junk bank and craft materials. Found and donated junk on one side, craft materials on the other. It supplies the making tables, so it is stocked before they open, not with them.
It is the one table where running low stops other stations rather than this one.
Junk models can be taken home.
None of its own. It takes the theme of whichever table it is feeding.
Set out the example board and the sorted junk, and stock the table before the making tables open.
Restock from the boxes as it empties.
| Children | Hand saws, from age 5, with an adult supervising. Scissors and cutting boards too. Kebab sticks are the sharpest thing on this table. Hand them out rather than leaving them in an open tray. They stay at the table and are not carried around the room. |
