What it is
A cordless drill for holes only, no cutting or sanding. Not available to the public: staff and inducted volunteers, never handed to a child.
Instructions
- A child brings the piece and an adult drills it.
- Start the tool under no load and let it reach full speed before it touches the work.
- One hole per bottle top. Holes in bottles the same way.
Technique
Nothing holds the work, so who holds the tool is the control. Let it cut rather than pushing it.
Safety
- Mind what is under the work. Drill into something the bit can come through into, not the table and not a hand.
- Kept out of reach of children when it is not in use.
